The 2023 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

Quebec City police were called to a stabbing on boulevard de la Canardière near boulevard Sainte-Anne, on August 22 at approximately 12:23am.

On arrival police located a man in his 20s who had apparent injuries related to the assault. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

With the assistance of a K-9 unit dog handler, investigators learned the location and arrested a 33-year-old man on rue de Grandville. Police have not released what charges the man is facing.
