Hui Xu also known as Phillip Tu was gunned down in North West Calgary on August 27.

Xu had history of drug trafficking and documented involvement in gang activity stretching back to the 1990s.

Police believe this was a targeted attack. “We’re really live to the fact this is possibly linked to organized crime,” said Staff Sgt. Colin Chisholm.
