Hamilton police were called to an apartment in an affordable housing complex at Melvin Avenue and Parkdale Avenue North on November 30th at approximately 1:30am.

Police arrived to find 53-year-old Michel Pilon, deceased. No other information has been released. Police expect to make an update later today, Nov 30th.

No charges laid at this time, however one person is in custody. Witnesses are asked to contact police at 900-546-3825.

On March 30th, 2022 George Opassinis was sentenced to life in prison for murder for the homicide of Michel Pilon.
