Strathcona County RCMP responded to a 911 report of a deceased male on a rural property at Highway 14 and Range Road 231 in Strathcona County, on November 29th at approximately 8:35am.

Police arrived to find a deceased 25-year-old men who was later identified as Gursumeet Singh Brar. Police said the circumstances surrounding the death of Brar were suspicious, and the autopsy revealed the manner of death to be a homicide.  Cause of death has not been released.

No arrests have been made at this time.
