Edmonton Police responded to a report of human remains by a citizen who had been walking in an alley west of 149 Street between 92 and 93 Avenue on August 15th.
Police said the Edmonton Medical Examiner completed an autopsy on August 16th, however, the results will not be shared with the public at this time.
Update the remains have been identified as Terri Ann Rowan, 33. The cause and manner of death are not being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Homicide detectives ask anyone who may have been through the alley on Aug. 14-15 that may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour of individuals and/or unfamiliar vehicles in that area to contact police at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
