Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting at 335 Roncevalles Ave at approximately 4:07pm on August 19th.
Police arrived to find Paolo Caputo, 64, of Richmond Hill, suffering from gunshot wounds out front of his restaurant Domani Restaurant and Winebar. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are searching for a suspect who has been described as male, 5’11” – 6’2″, with a thin build and a fair complexion, was last seen fleeing westbound on Constance Street, in a White 4-door SUV. The suspect threw the murder weapon and it has been recovered by police.
