Edmonton police responded to a residence in southeast Edmonton on the report of a 2-year-old boy in medical distress on December 6th at 9:30am.

Emergency Medical Services treated and took the boy to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

An autopsy was conducted and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide, cause of death is not being released for investigative reasons. No other information is available at this time.
