The 2020 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Peel Regional Police responded to the report of a shooting at a basement apartment in the area on of Scott and Church Street in Brampton on December 17th at approximately 10:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 23-year-old Uchenna Achioso suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died as a result of gunshot wounds.

There is no suspect description at this time . Anyone with information is asked to contact 905-453-3311 22 CIB or ext 223.

A gofundme campaign has been created to help the family cover the costs of Uchenna’s funeral.

Update March 3rd 2021
Hailey McVicar, 21, of Brampton, was arrested on January 12, 2021 and has been charged with First Degree Murder.

Jerome Smith, 33, of Brampton, was arrested on January 26, 2021 and has been charged with First Degree Murder.

Aliyah Rosan, 19, of Brampton, was arrested on February 19, 2021 and has been charged with First Degree Murder.

Moses Tesfay, 20, of Brampton and a 17-year-old male from Brampton, were arrested on March 2, 2021 and have been charged with First Degree Murder.
