EDMONTON Police investigate the fatal shooting of Inderpal Singh

On June 4, 2025, around 12:38 a.m., EDMONTON police responded to a report of a shooting at a home near 16 Avenue SW and 65 Street SW. When officers arrived, they found a 40-year-old man with serious injuries. EMS provided medical assistance, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case has been handed over to the Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section for further investigation.

An autopsy conducted today by the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the victim, Inderpal Singh, 40, died as a result of gunshot wounds. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this incident, or anyone who may have security or dashcam footage from the area between 11 p.m. on June 3 and 2 a.m. on June 4, to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
