Winnipeg Police Service General Patrol officers responded to report of a serious assault in the 800 block of Arlington Street on August 31st at 11:15am.
Police arrived to find Darrell Joseph Dumas , 47, of Pukatawagan, Manitoba suffering from a stab wound. Dumas was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Harley Eugene Nepinak, 21, was arrested in the 400 block of Maryland Street, and charged with second degree murder.
