The 2025 Calgary Homicide Victim List is available here

In the early hours of the morning, around 1:55 a.m., Calgary police responded to reports of a violent altercation in the 700 block of 10 Avenue S.W., just outside a local bar.

When officers arrived, they discovered several individuals suffering from stab wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Shortly afterward, a third individual with similar injuries arrived at the hospital. Investigators are working to determine whether this third victim is connected to the same incident.

Investigators said several witnesses and suspects fled the scene on foot. Thanks to the efforts of patrol officers and the Canine Unit, four individuals were taken into custody following multiple foot pursuits. Investigators are currently assessing their involvement.
