The Yukon RCMP Major Crime Unit, Watson Lake RCMP Detachment and other supporting units, have made an arrest in relation to the murder of Anthony Primozic, who was found murdered inside his home in Haines Junction on March 9, 2022.

Seth Boss, of Lower Post B.C., has been charged with second-degree murder and remanded into custody. He is expected to appear in Yukon Territorial Court, in Whitehorse on February 23, 2023.

A Yukon Supreme Court judge has found Seth Boss not guilty of second-degree murder in the 2022 death of Anthony Primozic in Haines Junction, instead convicting him of manslaughter. Chief Justice Suzanne Duncan ruled that the Crown failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Boss intended to kill—an essential element required for a murder conviction. While Boss admitted to causing Primozic’s death, the court determined the evidence did not establish the necessary intent.
