The 2025 Brampton Homicide Victim List is available here

Officers were called to the area near Hurontario Street and Bartley Bull Parkway, close to Steeles Avenue East, shortly after 7 p.m, On December 8th. Police say multiple shots were fired at a vehicle in what is believed to have been a targeted attack.

When officers arrived, they found the man alone inside the vehicle and broke a window to reach him. He was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports the victim was Jaskaran Singh Dhaliwal. Dhaliwal was allegedly employed as bookkeeper for the Former Liberal MP Raj Grewal’s office.

Update: Peel police announced on December 31st that, following the investigation, three men were arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder:

• Omar Ayah, a 25-year-old from Toronto
• Elijah Turney, a 20-year-old from Brampton
• Malik Young, a 20-year-old from Brampton
