Montreal, Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

A Montreal man has died after suffering serious upper-body injuries at a residence on Dupuis Avenue near Victoria Avenue.

The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) was called to the scene at approximately 3 p.m., where emergency responders found the man with critical injuries. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police confirmed on August 25 that the man had succumbed to his injuries.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene but has since been released. Police say he remains an important witness as investigators work to establish what happened.
