RCMP received a complaint of a possible assault on October 2nd at a camper trailer near Christopher Lake. Police found the body of 37 year old Christopher Durocher in the early morning of October 2nd.

Police have no suspects at this time.

Update March 17th 2017

Ryan Clark from Paddockwood, SK has been charged with the second degree murder of Chris Durocher.

Update November 2022
The Supreme Court of Canada overturned the second-degree murder and has ordered for a new trial.
