19-year-old Quebec Rapper Lydia Ghorici a.k.a. Kitana, accused in fatal Longueuil home invasion that killed 88-year-old Michel-André Tremblay

Longueuil police responded to a report of an ongoing break-in on Renaud Street in the Saint-Hubert area shortly after 2 a.m. on December 7th.

Oh arrival police located two seniors who were assaulted. Both were transported to hospital, where 88-year-old Michel-André Tremblay died of his injuries

Police say 19-year-old Lydia Ghorici, was arrested near the scene and has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 88-Tremblay and injuries to his wife.

Police said Ghorici, who had no prior criminal record, initially faced break-and-enter and theft charges, but additional charges, including assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon, were added after the incident.
