Around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, police responded to reports of gunfire n a parking garage at the Shops at Heritage, located at 8835 Macleod Tr. S.W.

When officers and emergency crews arrived, they found 23-year-old Madisson COBB with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted. No suspects are in custody at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.

CCTV footage shows a white Toyota RAV4 with British Columbia licence plate PP322J leaving the scene. Investigators believe the vehicle was parked on the fourth level of the parking garage before the shooting and is connected to the incident.

Police are asking the public to contact authorities if they:

• Had contact with Madisson prior to her death, or have any knowledge or information regarding the shooting
• Have dashcam footage of Horton Road S.W. at Heritage Drive S.W., heading westbound towards 14th Street S.W., between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025
• Saw the vehicle of interest in the parking garage prior to the shooting
• Have footage from the fourth level of the parking garage in the 8700 block of Horton Road S.W., between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025
