Windsor police responded to the report of gunfire in the 2200 block of Northway Avenue on April 1st at approximately 11:00pm.
Police arrived to find a vehicle with gunshot damage, inside the vehicle police found a woman who was pronounced deceased. A second victim, an adult male was located in the immediate area andwas suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Update May 11th
With the assistance of the Waterloo Regional Police Service, Windsor police arrested three male suspects in the city of Kitchener on May 8th. Keermaro Rolle 23, Kyle Hanna 26, and Tomeko Vilneus 26, all of no fixed address have all been charged with:
- First Degree Murder
- Attempt Murder
- Forcible Confinement X2
- Assault / Choking X2
in relation to the homicide of Madisen Ashleigh Gingras, 20.
