Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence located in the first 100 block of Tim Sale Drive in the city’s South Pointe Neighbourhood.
Police arrived to find Rig Debak Moulebou, 20, deceased.

Update April 5th
Investigators determined that Moulebou was responsible for the murder of Wahabi, and Moulebou was murdered in retaliation. Both homicides, along with continued violence, are a result of a feud between two gangs.
On January 22, 2020, Arnold Mbaka Nduta, 23, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder. On February 28, 2020, Abdullahi Abdulrehman Mohamed,23, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder. On March 2, 2020, Manuchehr Haroon,23, of Brandon, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder. On March 27, 2020, Javaid Wahabi, 23, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
