The 2021 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Emergency crews responded to a report of a deceased woman located inside an apartment unit in the 600 block of Maryland Street, on May 10th at approximately 2:25pm.

Winnipeg police said the deceased victim has been identified as Jasmine Normand, 27 of Winnipeg. An autopsy was performed and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide.

The Homicide Unit asks for the public’s assistance to establish Jasmine’s whereabouts, activities, leading up to her discovery. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Update May 25th, 2022
On May 24, 2022, Winnipeg police located Sabrina Mary Louise FAVEL, 31, of Winnipeg, at a residence in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood. Investigators arrested Favel and charged with Manslaughter. Police determined that Favel and Normand were known acquaintances that had become involved in an altercation at Normand’s apartment that resulted in her murder.
