Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the rear lane in the 200 block of Furby Street on August 5th.

On arrival police located George Nickolas Demos, 50, unresponsive, suffering from a stab wound. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation.

On August 5, investigators arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Michael GLADUE of Winnipeg. He has been charged with Second Degree Murder and remains in custody.

Investigators also arrested a 17-year-old male from Winnipeg who faces the charge of Second Degree Murder. He was detained in custody as mandated by the Criminal Code.

On August 10, investigators arrested a third suspect involved in the incident. Nehemiah Jarren FEHR, 22, of Winnipeg, is charged with Second Degree Murder and was detained in custody. Investigators do not anticipate further arrests.
