Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 600 block of Cathedral Avenue for a report of a suspicious death on August 16th at approximately 3:00 p.m.
On arrival police located Pajo “Paul” Radocaj, an 83-year-old male of Winnipeg deceased. The cause of death has not been released however, police said his death is being investigated as a homicide.
Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
The death of Radocaj is the 31st Winnipeg homicide of 2022.
Update
On December 6th, the Homicide Unit arrested and charged a 60-year-old male Roman DEMCZYSZAK, of Winnipeg, with Second Degree Murder. Police said the victim and accused were not believed to have previously known each other but met through acquaintances when the victim was assaulted.
