Winnipeg Police Service responded to a hotel in the 100 block of Higgins Avenue for a report of a stabbing on August 17th at approximately 3:05 a.m.

Police arrived to find a seriously injured adult male in front of the establishment. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

The victim has been identified as Brian Andrew ANDERSON, a 40-year-old male of Winnipeg. 

 Elijah Moneyas, 20 has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder
