Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a shooting at an apartment block in the 500 block of Furby Street on November 26th at 1:44 a.m.

 Police arrived to find a severely injured adult male inside a suite and administered emergency medical care. The victim, Daniel Michael George Cook, a 29-year-old male of Winnipeg, was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
