Winnipeg police and Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to the 130 block of Clyde Road for the report of an injured male lying underneath a U-haul / cargo-style truck parked on the street on October 24th at 9:45am.

Police located Lionel Sherwin Colombe, 35, deceased. The cause of death has not been released and the Homicide Unit took over the investigation.

 Anyone with home surveillance in this area is asked to check if they have information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

Update November 5th
Winnipeg police have arrested and charged four men in relation to the homicide of Lionel Sherwin Colombe.

Desmond Arthur Paul HOULE, 25, of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following offence:

  • Second Degree Murder

Nathan Michael BRUCE, 22, of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Second Degree Murder
  • Warrant for Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Berens River)

Miles Nicholas BATENCHUK, 24, of Berens River, MB, has been charged with the following offence:

  • Second Degree Murder

A 16-year-old male from Winnipeg is facing the following charge:

  • Second Degree Murder.
