Emergency services personnel responded to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Edmonton Street on March 23rd at approximately 8:30pm.

The victim,  Prasad BISWA, 40, was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update March 28th
Winnipeg police arrested Kody Terrance Joseph PANGMAN, 26, of Winnipeg, on March 25th, and charged him with:
– Second Degree Murder
– Carry Concealed Weapon
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking
