The Manitoba 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

Oxford House RCMP responded to a report that a 49-year-old male had been assaulted and then transported to the nursing station in the community on August 20th at around 9:20am.

Police said the victim died in hospital and his death is being investigated as a homicide.

As a result, 6-year-old Wilfred Nelson CHUBB, of Bunibonibee Cree Nation, has been charged with Manslaughter and remanded into custody.
