Warrant issued for the arrest of Dustin Mitchell (Coats) in relation to a Red Deer homicide

Red Deer RCMP attended a residence on Stewart Street, in the Sunnybrook neighbourhood on November 25th at approximately 5:00pm.

Police located James Rufiange,34, deceased inside the residence. The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

The Red Deer RCMP and Major Crimes Unit are asking the public’s assistance in locating Dustin Mitchell (Coats), age 25 of Red Deer. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mitchell. He is described as:

Caucasian
6 feet tall / 160 lbs
Brown Hair / Brown Eyes
Tattoos: Still (under right eye) breathing (under left eye) and scroll writing on neck

Red Deer RCMP and major crimes unit arrested Dustin Mitchell (Coats) and charged him with second degree murder on December 2nd.
