One killed and one injured in Oshawa double shooting

Oshawa police and paramedics were called to the area of Simcoe Street South and Athol Street on November 29th at approximately 10:30am.

Police located one man without vital signs. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased of what police believe are gunshot wounds. A second man was found in life-threatening condition, he was taken to a Toronto trauma center where he remains.

Const. George Tudos, said they are still trying to determine exactly where the shooting took place. The Air1 Helicopteris being used to search for rooftop evidence.

Update November 30th
Durham Regional Police have identified the victim as Justin BLIGHT, age 27, of Oshawa. Noah RENISON, age 35, of No Fixed Address is charged with First Degree Murder.
