Vancouver police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at approximately 12:30 am on July 7th.
Police and paramedics arrived to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside a residence. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. The victims identities have not been released at this time.

Update July 8th
Vancouver police are searching for an older model grey 2005 Dodge Caravan minivan, with British Columbia license plate number 175-LXR, as a vehicle-of-interest in relation to the double homicide. Sergeant Aaron Roed, of the VPD said “Please do not approach the vehicle or its occupants, as it is related to the two most recent homicides in Vancouver. Any information on the vehicle’s whereabouts will assist the investigation.” Police advise that anyone who comes across this vehicle to immediately call 9-1-1,
Update July 10th
Vancouver police have identified the victims as 72-year-old Dennis Wragg and 68-year-old Paul Tonks. On July 8th RCMP’s Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, with assistance from Chilliwack and Agassiz RCMP, and the VPD’s Emergency Response Team arrested Joseph Holland, 43, of Vancouver. Holland has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
