Belleville Police Service’s Uniform Division responded to a residence on Hastings Park Drive after receiving a report of a homicide at home on May 21st at 1:28 am.

On arrival police located 26-year-old Shannan Leigh Hickey of Belleville deceased, and 30-year-old Tyler Donnelly of Belleville with lacerations to his wrists.  Both parties were located inside the residence. 

Donnelly was transported by paramedics to the Kingston General Hospital for treatment of his injuries, and arrested by police. He has since been charged with Second Degree Murder.
