Toronto police responded to a call for Sound of Gunshots in the Hickory Tree Road and Lawrence Avenue West area on February 27, 2024 at approximately 4:40 a.m.

On arrival police located two men with injuries. Life-saving measures were performed and they were rushed to the hospital where they died of their injuries. The identities of the deceased has not been released.

The victims have been identified as Rajiv Ralph, 31, (left) of Toronto, and Akim Fleming, 33, (right) of Toronto.

Investigators are asking witnesses, or anyone who was driving in the area at the time and has dash-camera or video surveillance to contact police.
