Toronto police were called to a shooting at an underground parking garage at 2350 Birchmount Road at approximately 5:25pm on December 30th.
Police arrived to find a man believed to be in his 30s suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Update January 2nd:
The victim has been identified as Gars-Ara Kourjakian, 34, of Toronto.
Update: On January 13th Toronto police arrested Devret Clarke, 37, of Toronto, and charged him with:
- First Degree Murder
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday, January 13, 2023, 10 a.m.
