Montreal police responded to a shooting at the corner of Jules-Poitras and Deguire boulevards on December 30th at approximately 8:00pm.

On arrival police located a 28-year-old man suffering from serious gunshot injuries to his upper body. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
