Toronto Homicide #49 – Andre Rodriguez fatally shot in a Walmart parking lot

Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting in the St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue area at 1:42 pm on September 10th.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Andre Rodriguez suffering from a gunshot wound. According to reports, a witness stated the victim had been shot in the head. Rodriguez was pronounced deceased by paramedics.

Police are searching for a black male suspect who fled the scene in a white SUV, westbound on St. Clair Ave.

Anyone who was driving in the area of St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue at 1 p.m – 2 p.m., on Thursday, September 10, 2020, with a dashcam, is also asked to contact the police to obtain the video from their car.

Update September 18th
Toronto Homicide Unit Investigators arrested Mohamed Osman Daoud, 34, of St. Catharines on September 16th and charged him with First Degree Murder.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Abdelmuniem Abdalla, 33, of Grimsby, who is wanted for First Degree Murder.

Update October 10th

On October 8, investigators from the Homicide Unit arrested Michael Carty, 25, of Toronto. He was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder And Accessory After the Fact.

On October 9, 2020, investigators from the Homicide Unit arrested Ayuub Jama, 24, of Toronto and charged Him with First Degree Murder.

A warrant is still issued for Abdelmuniem Abdalla, 33, of Grimsby, who is wanted for:
