Toronto Homicide 43 – Mireille Pardieu charged with second-degree murder in relation to the homicide of Fadumo Hassan

Toronto police responded to an unknown trouble in the Shuter Street and Sherbourne Street area on August 16th at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Police learned that following an altercation a female victim was seriously injured. Police said Fadumo Hassan, 29, of no fixed address, was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries on August 25, 2023.

Mireille Pardieu, 27, of no fixed address, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

She is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 9 a.m., in room 202.

Police believe there are numerous witnesses to this incident. Anyone who was in the area of Shuter Street and Sherbourne Street on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at approximately 12:15 p.m., and observed any type of altercation, is asked to contact investigators.
