Update Three charged – Winnipeg police investigate the fatal shooting of Cory Roger Roulette

 Winnipeg Police Service responded to a multi-room residence in the 500 block of Furby Street on August 26th at approximately 12:30 a.m for the report of a shooting.

On arrival police located 38-year-old Cory Roger ROULETTE of Winnipeg suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided emergency medical care for the victim by providing CPR before paramedics arrived. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made. The Homicide Unit continues its investigation into the incident. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508, Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS, or online at winnipegcrimestoppers.org.

Update: Winnipeg police announced on September 6th that Three arrests were made on August 26th.

Kyle Alex HARPER, 25, of Winnipeg, was arrested and charged with  the following offences:

– Second Degree Murder

– Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition

– Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition

– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 2

– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order

– Warrant (Fail to Attend Court)

The additional two suspects were identified and arrested on September 1.

Ramona Harriette HARPER, 21, of Winnipeg, was charged with Second Degree Murder and Raoul Wes-Tyson Bradley HARPER, 19, of Winnipeg, was charged with Second Degree Murder and Failure to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 3.
