Three teens charged with the murder of Tyree Cayer at the Millennium Library in Winnipeg

Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a stabbing at the Millennium Library located at 251 Donald Street on December 11th at 4:40pm.

On arrival police located Tyree Cayer, 28, suffering from stabbing injuries. Cayer was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased.

Investigators have arrested three male youths without incident.

A 15-year-old male youth and a 16-year-old male, both from Winnipeg, are facing the following charge:

– Manslaughter

A 14-year-old male youth from Winnipeg is facing the following charge:

– Second Degree Murder
