The Ottawa Homicide victim List is available here

Ottawa police responded to a report of a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of York Street on February 21st at approximately 1:20am.

Police arrived to find the male victim who succumbed to his injuries. The Homicide Unit has identified the deceased as 64-year-old Gerard Desjardins.

Police announced at 1:30pm, that three people have been arrested after a detailed ground search.

 Daniel CHAPRON, 20-years-old, of Gatineau, has been charged with second degree murder and firearm offences.

 Hussein WALID, 20-years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with second degree murder and firearm offences.

 Merveil KOUASSI, 26-years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with firearm offences.
