Airdrie RCMP responded to a complaint of an unresponsive male found along the pathway of Nose Creek, behind Willowbrook neighborhood on January 26th at 8:38am.

Police located a deceased person and said the death is believed to be suspicious. The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken carriage of the investigation and the Forensic Identification Section has also been called in to assist. 

Information will be added as it becomes available.

Update, the victim has been identified as 56-year-old Darrin Gehlen.
