Surrey RCMP received a complaint from the Surrey Fire Department regarding the sudden death of a man inside a residence on August 27 at approximately 11:47 a.m.
Police arrived at the residence and located the 56-year-old Robb MEMORY of Surrey deceased.
A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and there is no risk to public safety. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and will be working in partnership with Surrey RCMP.
Update Sept 1, 2023, a charge of second-degree murder was laid against the accused, Paul Martin of Surrey, who remains in police custody.

says Robb’s father, Cecil Memory.” says Sergeant Timothy Pierotti of IHIT.
