Brandon police were called to Highland Park Mobile Home Estates shortly before 9 a.m. on Sept. 2.
On arrival police located a 63-year-old woman inside, suffering from serious injuries. She was pronounced at the scene.
Stephen Teetaert, 42, was arrested and appeared in court on a charge of second-degree murder.
