Montreal police responded to many calls reporting a shooting near Snowdon Station at around 9:30 pm on October 2nd.

When police arrived they located the victim, 31 year old Derrick Crowder who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Crowder was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries on October 3rd.
