British Columbia 2026 Homicide Victim List

RCMP said the incident happened around 3 a.m. on Friday, July 17th, at a home in the 100 block of 4th Street SE. According to investigators, two men and one woman forced their way into the residence.

Police say an altercation took place inside the home, during which one of the residents was shot. The victim later died from the gunshot wound.

Investigators believe the suspects fled in a black Chrysler 300 sedan. The vehicle was described as having three matching wheels, a solid steel wheel on the rear passenger side, and a sunroof.

Later that evening, at approximately 6:35 p.m., the suspected getaway car was found burned in the Glenemma Trailhead parking lot at the Kelly Mountain Recreation Site, accessible via Yankee Flats Road and Mactavish Road.
