Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

The Sûreté du Québec responded to an incident in Pointe-aux-Outardes on July 20th at around 10:15 p.m., where officers found an unresponsive individual.

The person was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Micky Hamilton-Tremblay.

Three suspects were arrested later that night and are scheduled to appear in court in Baie-Comeau on Tuesday. The investigation remains active, with the crimes against persons unit leading the case.

Mayor Julien Normand has urged residents to stay away from the area while police continue their work, noting that the scene remains secured. He also praised the swift response of the Sûreté du Québec and said additional police patrols will be in place over the coming days to help reassure the community.
