New Brunswick 2026 Homicide Victim List
According to police, officers with the St. George RCMP detachment responded to a residence on Wellington Road at approximately 1:50 a.m. on July 17, 2026, after receiving a request to check on the well-being of an individual. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of a deceased woman inside the home.
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Patricia Honeywell.
Later that day, Jordan Blanchard appeared in Saint John Provincial Court by tele-remand and was initially charged with aggravated assault. He was remanded into custody.
On July 24, the charges were upgraded, and Blanchard appeared again in Saint John Provincial Court, where he was charged with second-degree murder. He remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court on August 21, 2026.
RCMP say the investigation remains ongoing.
