Update: Second Woman Charged – Regina police investigate the death of Peri A. N. Redwood as a homicide

Regina police responded to the report of a deceased woman in the 1700 block of Ottawa Street on October 13th at approximately 11:00am.

Police arrived to find  24 year-old Peri A. N. REDWOOD, of Regina, deceased. Police said the investigation, carried out alongside the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, now indicates that this is a homicide. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Hope Reign CYR, 23, of the Punnichy District, was arrested by Regina police on February 23, 2022, and has been charged with Second-Degree Murder.

On Saturday April 23, Regina police arrested 32-year-old Jenell Dawn COTE, of Regina, and charged her with:

  • Second-Degree Murder, s. 235(1) CC; and
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order, s. 145(5)(a) CC.
