Saskatchewan 2026 Homicide Victim List

Shellbrook RCMP received a report of a dead man in a rural area on Mistawasis First Nation on June 4 at approximately 6:20 p.m.

The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, which is being treated as suspicious. Investigators are working alongside the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to identify the deceased individual and determine the circumstances of the death.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or seen suspicious individuals in the Mistawasis First Nation or Shellbrook areas between the evening of June 1 and the evening of June 4 to come forward. Tips can be provided by calling 310-RCMP or anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.

Investigators say they are unable to release additional details. Further information will be shared as it becomes available. Police added that they will immediately notify the public if any threat to public safety is identified.
