RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit has been investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting and the death of a man on March 21st near Highway 97.

Police said the investigation has the characteristics of a targeted shooting. Anyone with information about this incident, who was in this area between 3:30 am and 4:30 am this morning, March 21, and particularly motorists with dash cameras who travelled the highway at this time, to contact the RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit at 1-877-987-8477.
