North Battleford RCMP responded to a report of an injured individual at a residence on 93rd Street in North Battleford on June 22nd at approximately 11:55am.

On arrival police located 72-year-old Beatrice Geering from North Battleford suffering from serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim’s son, Walter Geering, 45, of North Battleford was arrested on June 22 and charged with one count, second degree murder.
